Movie Awards
The theme of this year's contest is Tzedakah/Charity. All films should
be between thirty and ninety seconds in length. Submissions can be in
any film medium i.e. live action, animation, photographic images with
text over music (see the MLK film on our site for instance). All entries
should strive to be in the style of the Jewish Impact Films currently
on the website. Entries will be judged on humor, clarity of message, and
originality. Winning entries will be exhibited on the site. All submissions
become the property of Jewish Impact Films, but slow down D.W., remember
we're a non-profit. All entries must be received by June 1st 2005.
First Prize will receive a Five Hundred Dollar cash prize and be shown
on JewishImpactFilms.com.
Please label each tape and disk with your name, email address and phone
number. Entry fees are $25. Mail your entries and the entry form along
with a check made to Jewish Impact Films.
Winners will be posted on this website within 45 days after the competition
deadline and all entrants will be notified by mail regarding competition
results. Judges will be drawn from the list of Senior Fellows. Judges'
decisions are final.
